Recently the Ockbrook and Borrowash Parish Council got really sniffy when it was pointed out that in a survey of local people over 80% of responders thought there ought to be a Parish Office in Borrowash Village Centre.
Curiously when faced with legitimate public opinion on the issue they responded with an attack on the local Labour Party.

More people frequent Borrowash Village centre than ever go past the "Village Hall". So it isn't surprising residents would like a more prominent location, is it? It seems to offend the local Tories who are very sensitive about the issue. I wonder why? Could it be they know the public are right and they are wrong? Obviously the present Parish Council prefer their bunker up in Ockbrook.
